How and where do I make child support payments?

You can make a child support payment several ways:

1. Mail your payment to the:
   Illinois State Disbur sement Unit
   P.O. Box 5400
   Carol Stream, IL 60197-5400
   
   Include with your check:
   1. custodial parent’s name,
   2. name of county where order was entered or sometimes referred to as FIPS #,
   3. docket number,
   4. your name,
   5. your social security number.
      
      
   Remember if you are paying on more than 1 court order, each payment must be listed separately.
   
   
2. Credit/Debit card payments by calling HFS, Bureau of Fiscal Operations at 1-877-895-9094, or
   
   
3. E-Pay offered by the Illinois State Treasurer's Office, or
   
   
4. Direct Debit Authorization. In order to set up this type of transaction, call 1-877-225-7077 or you can access the SDU/ACS's Web site.
