  On-Line Services

For your convenience, the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), Division of Child Support Enforcement (DCSE), has implemented a new interactive Web page. You may view the Web page from the link below or by clicking on the On-Line Services link located at the left under the customer tab:

Child Support On-Line Services

If you have an active child support case with HFS, you can receive specific information about your case.

To obtain information regarding your specific case, you will need your Social Security Number (SSN) and the date of birth of a child in the case.

  • Payments that have been processed by HFS
    Note:
If you receive your child support checks from the State Disbursement Unit (SDU), there is a link you may select to be connected to their Web site, or you can access their Web page at: www.ilsdu.com
  • Account Balance Information
  • Income Withholding Information
  • Appointment Information

The Web page also provides general information on the following topics:

  • How to apply for child support services
  • The HFS Notice about tax refund or other offsets
  • The Department of Treasury notice stating your federal payment was reduced
  • How to file an appeal
  • How to change your name or address
